Anamero Dekeri embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at a tender age in 1987, right after completing his high school education in the local community of Ogute-Oke Okpella. Guided by the wisdom of his late father, Pa James Sunday Dekeri, Anamero initially ventured into cocoa farming and warehousing. His determination and hard work paid off when, in 1994, he achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Etsako indigene to export cocoa beans to the United Kingdom and America.

Drawing from his extensive experience and visionary leadership, Anamero Dekeri founded Seagate Maritime with the aim of establishing a comprehensive solution hub for marine trade and logistics. Today, Seagate Maritime stands as a testament to Anamero’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence.

Head of Trading

In 2023, Afolabi joined Seagate, assuming the role of Head of Trading. His extensive background in the oil and gas trading sector, coupled with his expertise in international trade, positions him as a formidable asset. Prior to joining us, Afolabi honed his skills and refined his craft through invaluable experiences at various esteemed oil and gas trading companies.

Head of Finance

Maria is a distinguished member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), boasting a wealth of experience leading accounting departments across multiple diverse sectors. Renowned for her adaptability and astute acumen, she navigates the ever-evolving landscape of the financial world with finesse.

Laura Amos

Renewable Energy Development Manager

Laura became part of Seagate in 2020, initially serving as the HR Manager. Recognizing her exceptional talents in development, she was subsequently appointed to spearhead the renewable energy development division of Seagate. In this new role, Laura has excelled, demonstrating remarkable proficiency and contributing significantly to the advancement of our renewable energy initiatives.

Relationship Manager

In 2013, Jennifer’s journey with Seagate began as an associate.
